Autologous Biologic Therapy
Platelet-Rich Plasma
PRP & PRGF Therapy
A small draw of your own blood, concentrated into a precise biological serum, and delivered where your body needs it most. PRP and PRGF support tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and improve joint function, with minimal downtime and no foreign substances.
Renewal From the Inside Out
What Is PRP Therapy?
Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy starts with your own blood. A small sample is drawn and processed to concentrate the platelets, the cells that arrive first at any injury site and release the signals your body needs to begin repair.
The result is a serum 5 to 10 times richer in growth factors than normal blood. Injected into the area needing support, it delivers a targeted biological signal that activates local tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and improves circulation, without introducing anything foreign.
Because it comes from you, there is no risk of rejection or allergic reaction. The platelets are biologically matched to your tissue. Concentrated, they do what they do naturally, just with greater intensity, precisely where it’s needed.
5–10×
richer in growth factors than circulating blood, the concentration that makes the signal count.
Biologically matched to your tissue, drawn from you, returned to you.

How It Works

Draw

Immune-Privileged

Deliver
Over the following hours and days, platelets release growth factors that do several things at once: they signal local cells to begin repair, support new collagen formation, improve micro-circulation, and modulate the inflammatory pathways that cause pain and stiffness.
The process is autologous, it uses only your own biological material. No donors, no synthetic agents.
Two Preparations
PRP and PRGF - What's the Difference?
Both therapies come from your own blood. The difference is in preparation and what ends up in the final product.
Standard PRP concentrates platelets using a centrifuge. The result includes platelets, plasma, and small amounts of red and white blood cells. It’s effective and well-tolerated for most applications.
PRGF (Plasma Rich in Growth Factors) takes preparation further. A tightly controlled centrifugation process isolates a cleaner, more refined fraction — concentrated growth factors with inflammatory cells removed. This produces a gentler preparation, more consistent from session to session, and better suited to sensitive tissue areas where purity matters.
| PRP | PRGF | |
|---|---|---|
| Preparation | Standard centrifugation | Advanced, controlled centrifugation |
| Composition | Platelets, plasma, some blood cells | Growth-factor concentrated; inflammatory cells removed |
| Primary action | Releases growth factors from platelet activation | Delivers higher, more targeted growth-factor concentration |
| Typical use | Joints, sports injuries, hair, aesthetics | Delicate joints, aesthetic tissue, nerve-adjacent areas, ozone combinations |
| Post-injection response | May cause mild local inflammation in some patients | Gentler; reduced local irritation due to cell removal |
| Technology | Standard clinical centrifuge | Medical-grade system, standardized protocol |
At OmniStem, PRGF is the standard used in joint injections, combined ozone protocols, and aesthetic applications. Standard PRP is used where the clinical indication calls for it. The physician determines which preparation is appropriate based on your anatomy, condition, and treatment plan.
Clinical Applications
What It's Used For
Joint & Musculoskeletal Support
Early joint discomfort, sports-related tendon and ligament injury, cartilage wear, and post-exercise recovery. In joint programs, PRGF is typically paired with ozone therapy or used as a preparatory layer before UC-MSC injection.
Regenerative Aesthetics
Used in facial protocols (ExoSkin™ and StemGlow™) to support collagen renewal, skin quality, and treatment-area recovery.
Hair Restoration
Scalp injection to support follicle reactivation in thinning or receding hair. Part of the StemGrow™ protocol alongside UC-MSC and exosome delivery.
A Combination Layer in UC-MSC Programs
PRP and PRGF are frequently used as co-interventions within OmniStem's broader joint, spinal, and aesthetic protocols, not as standalone add-ons, but as clinically integrated steps.
Potential outcomes
What Patients Typically Experience
- Tissue repair support in tendons, ligaments, and joints
- Reduced joint inflammation and associated pain
- Compatible with UC-MSC and ozone protocols
- Improved range of motion and function in treated areas
- Most patients return to light activity within 24–48 hours
- Compatible with and synergistic alongside UC-MSC and ozone protocols
Individual outcomes vary. The physician will discuss what’s realistic for your specific situation before treatment begins.
Frequently asked
Common Questions
How soon will I notice results?
Most patients see gradual improvement over 2–6 weeks, with changes continuing over several months. For hair restoration, visible results typically appear at 3–4 months, in line with the natural hair growth cycle.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your condition and how your tissue responds. Some patients see clear benefit after one session. Others benefit from a series of 2–3 injections spaced weeks apart. The physician will give a clinical recommendation based on your case.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Most patients resume normal activity the same day. Heavy physical exertion is generally restricted for 24–48 hours after injection.
How is OmniStem different from a standard PRP clinic?
The preparation method, the clinical context, and how PRP/PRGF fits into the overall protocol. At OmniStem, PRGF is the standard for most applications — a more refined preparation with inflammatory cells removed. More importantly, it's used within a physician-designed protocol, not as a standalone offering. When paired with UC-MSC therapy, ozone, or HBOT, the biological environment the PRP is delivered into is meaningfully different from an isolated injection.
Can I receive PRP or PRGF if I'm already doing stem cell therapy?
Yes. PRP and PRGF are often used as part of the same protocol — sometimes as a preparatory layer, sometimes as a follow-up support. The medical team will determine whether and how to combine them based on your treatment plan.
Is it safe?
Because the preparation uses only your own blood components, immune reactions are very uncommon. The main procedural considerations are standard injection-related: site discomfort, temporary swelling, or bruising. These are reviewed with each patient before treatment.
