StemLife® Total Body Systemic
Your protocol. What to know before you arrive — how it works, what your visit involves, how to prepare, and what to expect afterward.
About This Page
This page is for you — someone who has already spoken with the OmniStem medical team and has a care plan that includes a StemLife® Total Body Systemic IV infusion. What follows covers how the protocol works, what the experience is like during your visit, how to prepare your body in the weeks before you arrive, and what to expect in the days after your infusion.
Your care plan already reflects your specific dosing, your program structure, and any additional modalities your physician has included. This is the context behind those decisions.
What You Are Receiving
StemLife® Total Body Systemic delivers UC-MSCs (umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells) and exosomes intravenously — directly into your bloodstream. This is a whole-body protocol. The biologics circulate systemically, which means they do not target one organ or one region. They respond to biological signals throughout your body and migrate toward areas of inflammation, oxidative stress, and cellular dysfunction.
UC-MSCs
Produced from donated umbilical cord tissue in OmniStem's own GMP-aligned laboratory in Punta Cana. Once in circulation, they release anti-inflammatory cytokines, growth factors, and paracrine signals that modulate the immune environment and support cellular repair across multiple systems — cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, and musculoskeletal.
Exosomes
Nanoscale vesicles derived from those same stem cells. They carry concentrated packages of proteins, signaling RNA, and growth factors that instruct surrounding cells to shift into a regenerative mode. Delivered alongside UC-MSCs, they amplify and extend the biological effect of the infusion.
Your care plan specifies the exact dose of each — calibrated by your physician based on your body weight, inflammatory markers, and clinical goals.
The Infusion: What the Experience Is Like
On your infusion day, you will be in a private clinical suite at the OmniStem facility. The biologics are prepared fresh that morning, specific to you. The infusion is administered intravenously through a peripheral line, at a controlled rate.
You will be comfortable — seated or reclined — with nursing staff monitoring your vitals throughout. Most patients read, rest, or simply sit. Some notice a mild sense of warmth or fatigue during the infusion; both are normal physiological responses. If you feel anything that concerns you, you let the nursing team know — they are with you the entire time.
After the infusion is complete, you remain at the clinic for a brief monitoring period — typically 30 to 60 minutes — before being cleared to return to your accommodation.
What Happens After the Infusion
The infusion delivers the biological conditions for repair. What your body does with those conditions unfolds over weeks and months.
24–48 hours
Immune activation
Some patients experience mild fatigue, a low-grade temperature fluctuation, or increased thirst. These reflect normal immune activation — the body registering the introduction of new biological material and beginning to respond. Rest, hydration, and light food are the right approach for the day of your infusion and the following morning.
2–6 weeks
First signs of change
Most patients begin noticing changes in energy, sleep quality, inflammatory symptoms, or pain levels during this window. These are often the first signs that the regenerative process is underway.
months
Deeper biological change
This is when deeper change matures — metabolic shifts, sustained inflammation reduction, neurological improvements, and tissue repair responses. The regenerative timeline is slower than a pharmaceutical one. That is not a limitation; it is the nature of biological renewal.
You will receive a complete aftercare protocol from the OmniStem medical team before you leave Punta Cana. It will include specific supplement recommendations, dietary guidance, and instructions for physical activity in the weeks following treatment.
How to Prepare
The condition of your body on arrival matters. The following applies to the two to four weeks before your visit unless your care plan specifies otherwise.
Hydration
Start increasing your water intake now — aim for 2.5 to 3 liters per day. IV biologic delivery is more efficient in a well-hydrated body. Long flights and dry cabin air already work against you, so avoid arriving dehydrated.
Alcohol
Eliminate or significantly reduce alcohol for at least two weeks before your infusion. Alcohol is inflammatory, disrupts immune regulation, and impairs the cellular environment the protocol depends on.
Anti-inflammatories & blood thinners
NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin) and anticoagulants affect the inflammatory signaling cascade that stem cells and exosomes interact with. Discuss any regular use with your OmniStem physician — adjustments will be specified in your care plan.
Supplements to pause
High-dose antioxidants — particularly vitamin C above 1,000 mg/day, vitamin E, and NAC — can interfere with the biological signaling triggered by the protocol. Your care team will advise on what to pause and when to resume after treatment.
Diet
Two to three weeks before arrival, shift toward an anti-inflammatory diet — abundant vegetables, lean protein, omega-3 rich foods (fatty fish, walnuts, flaxseed), and reduced refined sugar and processed carbohydrates. You do not need to be perfect; the direction matters more than the detail.
Sleep
Prioritize sleep quality in the week before your visit. A rested immune system responds differently than a depleted one.
Physical activity
Continue your regular exercise routine — there is no need to intensify. If you are sedentary, light daily walking is beneficial. Avoid intense or exhausting training in the 48 hours before your infusion day.
Vaccinations
Do not receive any vaccine within three weeks of your infusion date. Live vaccines are contraindicated for four weeks on either side of treatment. If you have a scheduled vaccination, flag it with your care team.
Illness
If you develop an active infection, cold, or flu in the two weeks before your visit, contact your care consultant immediately. An active immune response changes the clinical picture and your physician needs to know.
What StemLife® Total Body Systemic Supports
The systemic IV route means the protocol does not treat one thing — it improves the biological conditions across your entire body. The following reflects what patients consistently report and what the clinical evidence around UC-MSCs and exosomes supports.
Inflammation reduction
The protocol's most immediate and reliable effect. UC-MSCs actively downregulate pro-inflammatory cytokines — including TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 — reducing the systemic inflammatory load that underlies most chronic conditions.
Energy and vitality
Improved mitochondrial signaling and reduced oxidative stress translate, for most patients, into meaningful gains in physical energy and mental clarity within the first weeks after treatment.
Immune regulation
UC-MSCs modulate T-cell and macrophage activity, helping shift an overactive or dysregulated immune system toward a more balanced state — relevant for autoimmune conditions, chronic inflammation, and post-viral recovery.
Cognitive function
Exosomes cross the blood-brain barrier and deliver regenerative signals to neural tissue, supporting neuroprotection, neurogenesis, and clarity of thought — particularly notable in patients with brain fog or neuroinflammatory presentations.
Tissue repair and recovery
Growth factors released by UC-MSCs support the body's own repair mechanisms across musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and organ tissue — accelerating recovery from injury, surgery, or chronic wear.
Metabolic improvement
Patients with metabolic dysfunction, early cardiovascular risk, or hormonal imbalance frequently report measurable improvements in energy metabolism, body-composition response, and general physical resilience over the months following treatment.
Biological age
The combined effect of inflammation reduction, mitochondrial support, immune recalibration, and tissue repair contributes to a measurable shift in biological-age markers — tracked through OmniStem's partnership with SuperPower health analytics if included in your program.
If You Have Questions Before Your Visit
Your care consultant is your primary point of contact for anything logistical — travel, accommodation, scheduling, payment, or timeline. Clinical questions about your specific protocol go directly to the medical team.
